Yes, I was wrong on both counts.

The earliest thing I can actually remember witnessing was Bert Campeneris chucking his bat at Lerrin Lagrow, which is only a couple of years after yours although I think I'm only about 8 months younger than you. I swear, however, I remember my mom having two posters in the house in 1968 (when I was 4). One showed a Tiger with a Cardinal in its mouth and the other showed the Tiger licking its chops with feathers coming out of its mouth and the caption was "Bye-Bye Birdie."

Anyway, the reason I bring up my earliest memories is so I can tell you my favorite posts by you are the ones that evoke those memories. I'm talking about the memories in which I can detail where I was, who I was with, what the announcer was saying, etc. but that I haven't actually thought about in a loooooong time. A recent example of that was your post on the Billy Lochead goal.

Anyway, congrats, and I promise to keep reading for at least the next thousand.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00770173659814728755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12128130.post-46000374843583835332008-07-11T10:56:00.000-04:002008-07-11T10:56:00.000-04:00Congrats on the milestone, Eno!
